Preparations for Durga Puja are underway with pandals being built on various themes. In some places, the idol of Lord Jagannath will be visible, while in others, Goddess Durga will be present in a Kalachakra pandal.

In Jharkhand, as every year, puja committees have geared up to make Durga Puja a grand affair. Construction of attractive pandals and idols worth lakhs of rupees has begun in almost every district, including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, and Godda. While some will feature eco-friendly puja pandals, others will house the idol of Maa Durga, while still others are being prepared as grand pandals similar to the Supreme Court.
