National Nutrition Week begins today: Malnutrition from womb; 9,000 children born weighing less than 2 kg in the state in 6 months.

In Jharkhand, the challenge of malnutrition is not limited to children's growth but begins at birth. Thousands of children born in the state in the last six months have been underweight. Dainik Bhaskar collected data from government hospitals in 9 districts, including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Palamu, Khunti, and Bokaro. According to these figures, more than 95,000 children were born in district hospitals, CHC-PHCs, etc., in the last six months.
