Based on a tip-off, the Kudu Forest Department team raided and seized jackfruit wood loaded in a pickup vehicle from Phulsuri village in the block police station area on Saturday afternoon. The driver of the pickup vehicle and the smuggler have fled. Pankaj Kumar, the forest officer in charge of the Kudu forest area, stated that they received secret information about a large jackfruit tree being cut down in Phulsuri without permission and being sent to Ranchi in a pickup vehicle.
