In the Thana area's Nawadih village, three goats died on the spot after being struck by lightning on Wednesday afternoon, while two other goats were injured. The incident has brought a pall of gloom to the families of the livestock herders. According to reports, Tahir Ansari, Reyasat Ansari, and Ghulam Hussain alias Bablu, residents of Nawadih, had taken their goats to graze in a nearby forest around 2 pm on Wednesday. During this time, a sudden and severe lightning strike occurred amidst light rain.
