Rent in Pandara Bazaar Samiti is ₹9 per square foot: Marketing Board holds meeting; proposal to increase shop and warehouse rent in market committees.

The capital city of Ranchi is preparing to increase the rent for shops and warehouses in the Pandara Bazaar Committee, the largest wholesale market in the region, by approximately 80 percent. A proposal has been put forward at a meeting of the Jharkhand State Agricultural Marketing Council (Marketing Board) to directly increase the monthly rent for shops and warehouses in Ranchi from ₹5 to ₹9 per square foot. The meeting also proposed an increase in the rent for shops and warehouses established under the state's 28 market committees.
