Death of a young girl in Gumla: Relatives said she was raped and had been missing from home on Thursday evening; she was found in critical condition at night.

A 13-year-old girl from the Palkot police station area of Gumla died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at Ranchi RIMS. The girl's family has accused four to five unidentified youths of abducting her and gang-raping her. According to the family, the girl had gone missing from home around 5 pm on Thursday evening. About two hours later, at 7 pm, some youths left her near her house. At that time, her condition was extremely critical due to injuries on her body.
