The monsoon has become active again in Jharkhand due to the impact of a low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal, western Gangetic West Bengal, and northern coastal Odisha. Under the influence of this system, the capital city of Ranchi experienced intermittent light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms since morning on Monday. On Monday, Ranchi recorded 13 mm of rainfall, while Bokaro received the highest rainfall at 80 mm. According to the Meteorological Center, Ranchi will also receive rain on September 1 (Tuesday).
