UGC's Strict Rules Ignored: University Lokpal... Empty Post Closes Major Door to Students' Complaints

For the past five months, the UGC's system for hearing student grievances and providing solutions has been inactive in major government universities in the capital, including those at RU (Ranchi University) and Raksha Shakti University. The positions of Lokpal are vacant at Ranchi University and Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. Students can file complaints with their respective university's Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC), but if they do not receive relief there, they cannot appeal to the Lokpal.
