Keredari: Demands for cancellation of proposed CB South coal project

A team of public representatives and farmers from all 11 villages in the block has reached Ranchi on Tuesday to submit a letter of objection to the Governor, Chief Minister, and Chief Secretary of Jharkhand government regarding the proposed Chatibariaatu South Coal Project. The demand is to cancel the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, Gazette Notification No. 3966, dated 27-7-2026. It is worth noting that this proposed project involves areas such as Pagar, Chatibariaatu, Jordaag, Bukru, Peto, and Bhadai.
