Monsoon quota is almost complete in Jharkhand: Rain in Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra and Latehar; sunshine will remain in Ranchi from today.

The torrential rainfall in the last four days of Bhado has almost made up for the deficiency in monsoon in Jharkhand. As of Tuesday, a total of 970 mm of rain was recorded in the state, which is eight percent less than normal. The rainfall figure then increased to 991.3 mm by Saturday. The average rainfall in the state during the monsoon period is 999.7 mm. Thus, the rainfall is now just one percent behind normal. After continuous rains, the weather is now clearing up.
