In Koderma, a road accident resulted in the death of 30-year-old Amarjeet Singh. The incident occurred on the Ranchi-Patna main highway at a bridge located in Gummo. Amarjeet's bike collided with a pickup van that was parked broken down on the road. Amarjeet hailed from Manjhagaon in Chatra district and worked at the KTPS power plant in Koderma. He was returning to Jhumritilaiya around 12 noon on Monday. Just before reaching the NH 20 bridge in Gummo, he was overtaking a truck.
