In Jharkhand, thalassemia-sickle cell patients can now get free blood transfusions in private hospitals as well - Ranchi News. The state government has provided significant relief to patients suffering from thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, and severe anemia. Now, beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat and ABUA health cards will be able to avail free blood transfusion facilities under a designated package not only in government hospitals but also in private hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman scheme.
