Jharkhand protesters block road: Demanding pension on the lines of Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand, they warned to stop the foundation day program.

The statewide strike called by the Jharkhand Andolan Karmi Sangharsh Morcha on Wednesday to press various demands, including pension for Jharkhand's movement activists, had a significant impact in Palamu. Around 7 am, hundreds of protesters gathered at Redma Chowk in Medininagar and blocked traffic by sitting on the road. Soon after, long queues of vehicles formed on major roads passing through Redma Chowk. Trucks, buses, four-wheelers, and autos were among those affected.
