Question Mark on Road Safety: A retired principal was hit by an auto while preparing for his daughter's wedding; he died two days later.

Mahendra Prasad Singh, a retired principal of DAV School, arrived at the banquet hall near Kathal Mor in Daladali TOP area on September 23 to finalize the preparations for his daughter's wedding. While crossing the road, an auto-rickshaw driver pushed him violently, causing him to fall onto the middle of the road and sustain serious injuries. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but his condition did not improve.
