Jharkhand experienced continuous rain for the third consecutive day: Schools remain closed in Ranchi today, and there is a flood risk in East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela.

The weather in Jharkhand has changed. It has been raining continuously for the past three days, causing rivers and streams to overflow. Several rivers are flowing above the danger mark. The Meteorological Department issued an alert on Saturday for heavy rainfall in East-West Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan, indicating a possibility of flooding in these districts. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has also been issued for Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, and Simdega. In Ranchi, there is a possibility of thunderstorms after 2-3 PM.
