Near Birhu in Chatra, a Scorpio vehicle lost control and collided with a sapota tree on the roadside around 11:30 PM on Saturday night. The driver, Prashant Kumar, a resident of Simaria, was seriously injured in the accident. He was returning to Simaria from Hazaribag in his Scorpio vehicle. Near Birhu, he suddenly lost control of the vehicle at a sharp turn, causing it to collide with the tree. The impact was so severe that the front of the vehicle was severely damaged.
