The Police Association has expressed outrage against Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato.

The Jharkhand Police Association, IRB-01 Jamtara branch, has protested against Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato. The association has accused the MLA of using inappropriate language towards police personnel and hurting the dignity of the police force. According to the association, on the night of August 21, 2026, MLA Jairam Mahato made a WhatsApp call from his mobile number to Ravi Kumar, Station House Officer Barwadda, Dhanbad district.
