Jharkhand activists blocked the road and stopped the convoy of the State Election Officer.

Bhaskar News|Giridih Jharkhand: Activists of the separate state movement blocked the Giridih-Dumri main road near Karpoori Thakur Chowk, Paparwatand, around 12 pm on Wednesday with various demands. The protesters staged a sit-in on the road. Due to the blockade, there was a long queue of vehicles from Paparwatand to Mufassil police station gate. As the road remained blocked for about two hours, people traveling from Ranchi, Hazaribag, Bokaro, and Ramgarh to Deoghar, Dumka, and Jamui via Giridih faced difficulties.
