Car occupant dies after being hit by trailer: An accident occurred in Gumla while traveling from Ranchi to Maharashtra, injuring two people; the driver and vehicle are absconding.

A 35-year-old resident of Maharashtra died in a road accident near Jora Jam on Jashpur Road in Gumla district. Two other people in the car suffered minor injuries in the incident. Sopan Anand Rao stated that three friends were traveling from Ranchi to their home in Amravati in a Swift Dzire car. An unidentified trailer coming from Chhattisgarh collided with their car at speed and recklessly near the turning of Jora Jam in Raidih police station area.
