Students protest at Rohtak MDU: Demanding installation of Sir Chhotu Ram's statue and launching a campaign against drugs.

Members of the National Students' Organization staged a protest at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, launching a campaign against drug abuse. They submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor with 10 demands and also requested the installation of a large statue of Sir Chhotu Ram on the MDU campus. Sudhir Saharan, President of NSO, stated that the proposal for constructing a life-size statue of Azam Chaudhary Chhotu Ram in the university premises was made by the former Vice-Chancellor's contemporary.
