Demand for Sir Chhotu Ram's statue at Rohtak MDU: Students protest and present a 10-point demand, campaign launched against drugs.

Members of the National Students' Organization (NSO) at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India, launched a campaign against drug abuse and held a protest. They submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor with 10 demands and also requested that a large statue of Sir Chhotu Ram be installed at MDU. Sudhir Saharan, President of NSO, stated that they had proposed the construction of a life-size statue of Azam Chaudhary Chhotu Ram on the university campus to the former Vice-Chancellor.
