Sumit alias Vicky alias Wakeel, who was named in the infamous Krishan murder case in the Kharkhoda area of Sonipat and is accused in 19 other criminal cases, has been denied bail by the Sonipat court. The court of Additional Sessions Judge (ADJ) Subhash Chandra Sirohi, while hearing his petition, stated that although the main witness in the case has retracted from her statements, the accused's long criminal history and the seriousness of the crime warrant bail.
