The strike by municipal sanitation workers in Rohtak continues for the 27th day. The employees staged a sit-in protest at the Municipal Corporation, chanting slogans against the government and calling on them to actively participate in the Panchayat Kar CM Gherao in Kurukshetra on September 13. Other employee organizations are also reaching out to support the sanitation workers who are protesting, including Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers. The Sarv Karmachari Sangh has also joined the strike.
