A person's body was found in a pond in Rohtak: Police pulled it out, but the dead body is 3-4 days old; efforts to identify are ongoing.

The body of an unidentified person was found in a pond near the railway line in Kharawar village, Rohtak district, India on Tuesday. The condition of the body suggests it is three to four days old. Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and retrieved the body from the pond. Police are now engaged in identifying the body. Police Investigating Officer Nikku Kumar stated that Advocate Deepak Malik, the Sarpanch representative of Kharawar village, informed him about the presence of a body in the pond.
