In Rohtak, today is the election for bars, voting with EVMs: competition among 32 candidates, machines brought from Faridabad; results will be announced by evening.

The Bar Association elections in Rohtak are being held today at the District Court premises, using EVM machines. However, when the administration stated yesterday afternoon that EVM machines were not available, lawyers created a ruckus. Subsequently, EVM machines were brought from Faridabad in the evening for voting. In the District Bar Association elections, 6 candidates are contesting for the post of President, while there are 4 candidates for the post of Vice-President (male) and 1 candidate for the post of Vice-President (female).
