In Rohtak, India, BJP councilors have started a sit-in protest outside the Municipal Commissioner's office, alleging that development work is not being carried out in their wards and officials are acting arbitrarily. The councilors stated that the officials are also misleading the Mayor. They staged the protest symbolically today, warning that if the officials do not comply, they will initiate an indefinite strike. Kapil Nagpal, a BJP councilor from Ward 7, said that even after submitting written work for 1 year and 6 months, the officials have not done any work.
