In Rohtak, members of the Haryana Roadways Workers Union protested against the issuance of 3648 permits on 362 routes by the Haryana government. The employees raised slogans against the government and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the GM. They also warned that if the decision to privatize the roadways is not withdrawn, a large-scale agitation will be launched. Sumer Siwach, State General Secretary of the Haryana Roadways Workers Union, said that discussions were scheduled for June 16th.
