Employees protest over the privatization of roadways: sloganeering against the government in Rohtak, protesting the issuance of 3648 permits.

In Rohtak, members of the Haryana Roadways Workers Union protested against the issuance of 3648 permits on 362 routes by the Haryana government. The employees raised slogans against the government and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the GM. They also warned that if the decision to privatize the roadways is not withdrawn, a large-scale agitation will be launched. Sumer Siwach, State General Secretary of the Haryana Roadways Workers Union, said that talks were scheduled for June 16th.
