The police team from Thana Kharkhoda in Sonipat district has arrested the accused involved in the rape of a minor girl. The arrested accused, Sumit, is a resident of Kharkhoda district, Sonipat. In a complaint filed with the police, a girl residing in Rohtak district reported on September 2, 2026, at Thana Kharkhoda that she was raped by the accused youth. This incident has been registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) at Thana Kharkhoda.
