The body of a young man who drowned in the canal in Rohtak has been found. He had gone into the water to bathe with friends, but was swept away by the strong current.

The body of a young man was recovered from the Kahnaur Head near Bahu Akbarpur village in Rohtak district. Upon receiving the information, the Bahu Akbarpur police station team reached the spot and started an investigation after taking possession of the body. The police sent the body to the dead house for post-mortem examination. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh alias Golu, a resident of Bahu Akbarpur village, aged around 23 years.
