Bar Association election: Former president alleges rigging; tells reporters in Rohtak that the election officer is plotting a conspiracy and acting out of malice.

Politics has heated up in Rohtak ahead of the District Bar Association elections. Former 8-time president Lokendra Faugat and former president Arvind Shyoran have accused the election officer of rigging the polls. However, Election Officer Om Prakash Punia has dismissed all allegations as baseless and stated that he will ensure a fair election. Former President of the Bar Association, Arvind Shyoran, said that he was a candidate for the post of president but was forced to withdraw his nomination today.
