The Delhi Jantar Mantar was treated with brutality: a young man from Rohtak said that he was dragged on the road while being beaten with sticks, like a terrorist.

On October 10th, at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, the youth faced challenges from the police while attempting to reach the CPI(J) protest regarding the resignation of Chief Election Officer Gyanesh Kumar. Reaching Jantar Mantar from the railway station was not easy for the youth. Amit, a young student leader who went to Delhi from Rohtak for the protest, stated that reaching Delhi was no less than a battle. There was tight police security, and the youth were surrounded on all sides.
