In the village of Bhali Anandpur, Rohtak district, a sugar mill was visited by the All India Kisan Sabha and Bharatiya Kisan Union. They held a panchayat demanding an increase in sugarcane prices to ₹600 per quintal and addressing other issues faced by sugarcane farmers. Additionally, they submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister through the MD, expressing their anger towards the government. Preet Singh of the Kisan Sabha stated that sugarcane farmers are incurring heavy losses due to not receiving full cost price for their produce.
