In Rohtak, villagers lock up liquor shops: They were enraged after being beaten by shopkeepers and accused of selling illegal liquor.

In the Rohtak district of India, villagers in the Saiman village of Maham police station area locked a liquor vend at around 12:30 pm. The villagers allege that the contractor sent his men to assault Rahul, a shopkeeper who runs a retail store in the village. Villagers Kitabo, Baljit, Pinky, Kamlesh, Paramjit, and Naveen reported that four days ago, the contractor's men arrived at Naveen's shop in a car. Their car was seen in the streets.
