Emphasis on zoonotic disease prevention in an awareness workshop.

Rohtak | At the One Health Awareness Workshop-cum-Talk at MDU's Center for Biotechnology, Mahipal Rana, a biotechnology expert from AIIMS, New Delhi, stated that human health is directly linked to the health of animals and the environment. He explained that the prevention of zoonotic diseases transmitted from animals to humans cannot be limited to hospitals alone; scientists, doctors, animal experts, and the community must make joint efforts.
