Haryana - Former MP's brother-in-law beaten up: Retired IAS officer says he asked for the car to be moved but was hit by the Sub-Inspector's son, who then pushed him and hurled abuses.

In Rohtak, a retired IAS officer and former MP, Dr. Deshraj Dhingra, was beaten up by his brother-in-law, Shadi Lal Batra, at DLF Colony in the middle of the night for parking his car there. The retired IAS officer alleges that when he asked them to move their car from in front of the gate, Naresh's son, who is the former sub-inspector of Arya Nagar police station, verbally abused him and pushed him down onto the road. As a result, Dhingra sustained injuries to his finger and elbow. He has filed a complaint about the incident at the Arya Nagar police station.
