The Mission Equality Student Organization (MESHO) student organization at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India, has demanded that a reading hall be available to female students for 24 hours. They also submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor, seeking a solution to the problem and warning of an agitation if it is not resolved. Nakul, General Secretary of MESHO student organization, questioned why there was a restriction on female students studying. He asked why they were being forced to study in a reading hall for 24 hours.
