Student organizations have sent a letter to the MDU VC, demanding that the recruitment process be started as soon as possible so that the shortage of teachers can be addressed by the departments. Student leader Vikram Singh Doomolia said that there has been no constitutional teacher recruitment at MDU from 2017 to 2026 and no non-teacher recruitment since 2012.
