The Rohtak court has sentenced two-time MLA Balvir Singh alias Bali Pehalwan to rigorous life imprisonment in a murder case. Bali, along with six others, was convicted by the court just a day earlier. This verdict comes in the Kalanaur grain market Arhati Vishnu Nigana murder case from May 2011. Bali had also been imprisoned for seven years in this case. The sentence was pronounced on Wednesday by the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (ASD) Kapil Rathi after lunch time.
