Ritul Gabani faced a lock malfunction in his Surat flat, which trapped his family inside. After contacting Godrej & Boyce, he was charged Rs 400 for a technician visit. Gabani later filed a complaint with the consumer commission regarding this charge. The commission found the charge during the warranty period to be an unfair trade practice. Ultimately, Gabani was awarded a refund, interest, and ad
