‘Slammed, fingers scalded’: Thane father assaults 2-year-old son after he avoids him amid marital dispute

A Kalyan man allegedly slammed his two-year-old son to the floor and scalded three of his fingers on a hot plate after becoming enraged when the toddler avoided him, police said. The man also allegedly assaulted his wife when she intervened, days after she had moved back in with him following a court-directed attempt at reconciliation.
