In the Kalyan-Dombivli area of Thane district, two women corporators from Shiv Sena (UBT) staged a unique protest on Tuesday against the poor condition of roads. They presented a shawl with pictures of potholed roads to an official from the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC). According to news agency PTI, Corporators Swapnali Kane and Aparna Bhoir protested at the KDMC office. They addressed the issue of the road's poor condition with the KDMC's sub-engineer.
