Widening of railway crossing begins in Amethi: MP Kishori Lal Sharma had requested the central government, saying it would provide relief from traffic jams.

Due to the efforts of Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma, the widening work of the railway crossing on National Highway 731 has commenced. This crossing is located near the Indorama Fertilizer Factory in Kamrauli police station area. It is being constructed as a four-lane road. Once completed, this will ease national highway traffic, improve mobility, and strengthen road safety. This railway crossing is on the Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway.
