The Ganges River has again risen towards its ghats in Varanasi. Small temples have been submerged, and meteorologists have predicted that the temperature will rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius over the next week.
After the rain stopped in Varanasi, there are signs of a gradual change in the weather. The city's temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while the wind speed was around 11 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no alert for rain for the next week. However, the water level of the Ganges has once again started rising. The river's water is increasing at a rate of about 2 centimeters per hour. This has affected many ghats.
