The UP government is going to provide a saree to each of the more than 1.80 lakh Anganwadi workers for their uniforms. The cabinet meeting, to be held on Friday under the chairmanship of CM Yogi, will pass the proposal. On Diwali, beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme will be given a free cooking gas cylinder each.
