10 special trains will pass through Lucknow on Diwali: Operations will be on the Patna, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Varanasi routes until November.

In anticipation of the increased passenger traffic on trains during the Diwali and Chhath festivals, Northern Railway has prepared to operate special trains. Ten special trains will be run from Lucknow to Delhi, Patna, Chandigarh, Varanasi, and Firozpur. These trains will be operated on different dates until the end of November. This will increase the likelihood of passengers traveling home for the festivals receiving confirmed tickets, and the regular trains will also be less crowded.
