Varanasi became the champion in the State Junior Boys' Wrestling Championship: winning 18 medals, including 11 gold, with Devipatan securing second place.

The sports department, in coordination with the Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association, has crowned Junior Boys, Wrestling Championship. In the 20 categories, the Varanasi division clinched 11 gold medals, securing a total of 18 medals in three days of competition and finishing first with 400 points. Meanwhile, the Devipatan division came in second with 165 points and 3 gold medals. This competition was held in Etawah from October 3rd to October 5th.
