In the Gumti market located in Bareka, Varanasi, India, thieves targeted several shops and committed a major theft. The incident came to light when shopkeepers arrived on Tuesday morning. Tin sheds of approximately 25 shops were found uprooted, while thefts have been confirmed at around 12-13 establishments so far. Upon receiving the information about the theft, police reached the spot and started an investigation. Preliminary investigations revealed that thieves entered the shops by lifting tin sheds from behind.
