A businessman who was shot in Varanasi died 12 days later: He had shot himself for suicide and underwent an operation due to the trauma.

In the Pandeypur area of Varanasi, India, businessman Vijendra Soni died on September 10th after shooting himself with a gun in an attempt to commit suicide. Vijendra's breathing stopped during treatment at the trauma center. He had arranged his daughter's wedding but was struggling financially and had been suffering from depression for several days. The police, who arrived at the scene, took possession of the body and sent it to the mortuary. A post-mortem examination is scheduled today.
