The rain has stopped in UP, but the rivers are still overflowing. The Ganges, Sharda, and other 15 rivers are flowing close to the danger mark. In Unnao, the Sai River's water has entered more than 12 villages, submerging thousands of bighas of paddy crop. Roads are flooded, and homes and shops are inundated with water. In Lucknow, the water level of the Sai-Gomti rivers is continuously rising, causing low-lying areas to be filled with up to 5 feet of water. Roads are submerged. The Saryu River in Barabanki is also overflowing.
